Is there a connection?

I noticed that my sister has a very nice house. Not big and flashy but very comfy and always clean and tidy (always! you can never catch her unawares). They always have healthy, scrummy food from scratch each day, she has a lovely garden including a lovely little veg patch. One thing she doesnt have is an internet habit, or more specifically an internat blog habit. I wonder if this is a co-incidence??? Do I hve to give up the into to finally get on top of my housework! Ooops.

  1. No way! Well, maybe a little...You just gave up the blog for a week, did you get a lot done?

  2. Its the reading though not the writing. The worst thing for me is seeing the names of other blog articles in links and getting sucked into blog hopping. I reserve that for special occasions now instead of daily!

  3. I totally understand the dreaded "link hop session". Doesn't even have to be blogs, can be any website.

I'll go on specifically to look at something, see a link on that site that looks interesting and click on it - so on and so on. Before I know it, 2 hours have gone by, I'm 50 sites away from where I wanted to be and don't remember why I sat down at the blasted machine in the first place!

Total lack of control on my part and have vowed to stop.

  8. That's what I'm thinking - have a morning or afternoon of surfing and just do what 'needs' to be done the rest of the week.

I have set aside a couple of hours each week for working on my blog posts and seem to be doing all right with that so...... :-)
